Only a matter of days until the event returns CS: GO with a header Esports Championship Series (ECS) Finals Season 5.
FACEIT as the organizer has announced the composition of the team in the group stage. FACEIT also explained comprehensively about the team division process in the group stage at ECS Season 5 via YouTube video.
A total of 8 teams have been divided into 2 groups which are quite even. Teams competing will use the GSL format (double-elimination: best-of-one followed single elmination and best-of-three deciders).
In the playoffs they will also use the format single elimination and best-of-three for the top match of the ECS Finals.
This unique GSL format was able to bring out the maximum potential of each team even though it had experienced poor performance.
This is also an opportunity for several teams that have recently changed roosterto train stamina and cohesiveness in a dense series of matches.
After the group stage division process, it appears that group A will become a group full of competitions. All teams in Group A have bagged their first title in 2018.

Seeing the series of achievements above, it is not wrong if group A deserves to be called ‘group of death‘at the ECS Finals Season 5. So, what about the battle map in Group B? Of course it is still full of tension and ambition but it can’t beat the fierce battle in Group A.
Group B comes with favorites FaZe Clan and G2 Esports, which already have names. However, NRG appeared quite convincing in the qualifying round on line with 17 wins and only one defeat.

ECS Finals Season 5 itself will take place on 8-10 June 2018 at SSE Arena, Wembley, London, England. This event will present numbers prizepool worth US $ 660,000 where the first position will take the most share by the number US $ 250,000.
