8 teams that qualified for IEM Sydney 2017

North have consistently held 7-8 positions in recent tournaments, their last match was when they were beaten by HellRaisers on StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3 earlier this month. Meanwhile, OpTic Gaming is more successful than before, which managed to occupy second place in the Esports Championship Series Season 2.

The top three teams in the world today are like SK, Astralist and FaZe will face each other in the next round, but at the beginning they have to face the team from China ViCi and Australia that is Chiefs, and Renegades.

ViCi you could say it’s still new to a big competition like this, they’ve only won a few tournaments before. On the other hand, the team is homeless Chiefs has had success at several Majors and Minors. Among these 3 teams Renegades is the most experienced team where they previously finished second at DreamHack Winter 2016.

But with the presence of 3 giant teams like SK, Astralist and FaZe, the challengers will have to work even harder to reach the grand finals.
