More and more well-known e-Sports teams are interested in the Vainglory scene, one of which is the Misfits, which are known as one of the leading teams in CS: GO and Overwatch.
They acquired Fates Zero, a team from Vain Glory, according to a press conference yesterday (21/2). This team will make their debut at the Vainglory Preseason Invitational on February 26, 2017 in San Mateo, California, America.
“We are very excited to enter Vainglory as a leading mobile e-Sport,” said Misfits CEO and co-founder Ben Spoont and Miami Heat executive Michael McCullough in a statement.
Support also came from Kristian Segerstrale, CEO of “Vainglory” which is the developer of Super Evil Megacorp. “Fates Zero is one of the leading teams in North America and we are delighted to see them continue to compete with a top team like Team Misfits,” he said.
Misfits is following in the footsteps of well-known e-Sports teams such as Fnatic, Cloud9, and SK Gaming to compete in Vain Glory. Good Luck Misfits!
