Riot Games Turns Off Wild Rift Access for VPN Users

Riot Games VPN LoL: Wild Rift currently entering the Open Beta Test (OBT) stage which is only released for the regions of Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea and Thailand. However, many players outside the region actually use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to play it.

That way, various problems arise that make players who get OBT access disturbed, ranging from language barriers to causing lag during the game.

Finally, Riot Games decided to limit VPN logins to Wild Rift in outside areas where OBT does not have access in order to provide the players with the maximum gaming experience.

They do this to ensure that Wild Rift can still be played to the maximum even though it is still in the OBT stage.

When is Wild Rift Available in Other Regions?

Based on information circulating, this game is planned to be present in Europe, Middle East, North Africa, Oceania, Russia, Taiwan, Turkey, and Vietnam in December, for North America, South America, and India, Riot plans to release the game on spring 2021.

The reason for the delay Wild Rift this is not far from the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic impacting the global landscape and creating new technical obstacles.

Even so, the Riot Games are still trying to shorten that time, so that Wild Rift get released as soon as possible.
