Sweden to Host Valve’s Third Major, DreamLeague Major Season 11!

DreamLeague has just completed the Dota Pro Circuit opening tournament, DreamLeague Season 10 which was held in Stockholm, Sweden with the Tigers as the winner.

After the tournament ended, it turned out that Sweden was back to host the third major tournament in the DPC series, namely the Stockholm Major 2018!

Even though Europe has already held a world-class tournament, namely ESL One Hamburg 2018, unfortunately the tournament is not included in the Dota Pro Circuit calendar.

Meanwhile, DreamLeague Major Season 11 or Stockholm Major 2018 will be the third major tournament following the success of DreamLeague Minor Season 10.

This major tournament will be held after the Kuala Lumpur Major and Chongqing Major which will be held from March 14-24 2019. For main event itself will be held for 3 days, namely 22-24 April 2018 at Annexet, Stockholm which can accommodate up to 3,950 visitors.

It is not yet known what the format will be, but when viewed from the Kuala Lumpur Major there will be 15 teams consisting of three teams from Europe, North America and China and two teams from Southeast Asia, South America and the CIS. In addition, there is also a team from the DPC tournament minor champion.


So far there has not been announced a third minor tournament after the Bucharest Minor which is confirmed to be the second minor tournament of the Dota Pro Circuit.

However, if you look at DreamLeague Season 10, this tournament is likely to be held in the same month as DreamLeague Season 11.

The ticket release is still two weeks from now. But it has been released for the price of DreamLeague Season 11 tickets.

The cheapest ticket is a Day Pass for 79 kr or equivalent to IDR 127 thousand. However, the ticket is only valid for one day. If you want to watch for 3 days, the price is 199 kr or equivalent to Rp. 322 thousand and you can do it signing session.

For calm ‘sultans’, there is a Premium Pass for 1499 kr or equivalent to Rp.2,428 million. Various benefits are offered not only for three full days.

Just like the two previous majors, the DreamLeague Major Season 11 or Stockholm Major 2018 tournament will fight for a total prize pool of up to US $ 1,000,000 (around Rp. 15 billion) and 15,000 DPC.
